Yolk was born out of greed - a desire for genuinely delicious takeaway food. In a city of culinary excellence, why should convenience be so dull? Bored by bland staples and 'healthy' chains, we longed for a grab-&-go option that doesn't compromise on excitement.

Now we serve breakfast, lunch and coffee to get excited about - think Steak Béarnaise sandwiches, Eggs Benedict pots and the best Flat White in the City. We serve the finest locally-sourced ingredients, such as dry-aged beef from Godfrey's butcher in Highbury, single-origin coffee from Dark Arts roastery in Hackney and slow-fermented bread from BreadBread bakery in Brixton.
